Introducing Babka Bars

If you have been following this blog for a while, you know I have a dog, Babka. You also may know that I am completely obsessed with her and she goes nearly everywhere with me. I try to feed her only healthy and delicious food and treats. When I found out that some of the treats I had been giving her (with a very short ingredient list… “chicken”) were recalled because they had been found to cause kidney problems in other dogs, I was horrified. I immediately stopped giving her any treats made in China and started looking for healthy alternatives.

Frustrated with my options, I baked a batch of treats using a recipe I found online. Babka loved them. But I didn’t love the recipe. I felt there was a whole lot of room for improvement in the ingredients. So, I started experimenting. ¬†After many, many batches I finally had my recipes perfect. Babka Bars was born.

Babka Bars are made with whole grain flour and oats, as well as real fruits and nuts. The best part is, dogs go crazy for them.

Babka Bars are currently available for pre-sale. Which means, if you order them now (at a discount), you will get them as soon as they start shipping, ¬†towards the end of May. As a reader of the blog, you can get an extra special discount. 10% off orders of 1 or 2 bags, and 15% off orders of 3 or more bags. Just use code FKGIRL at checkout. Don’t delay, the coupon is only valid until May 17, 2012.
