I Love Thanksgiving

It is my favorite holiday. Why? Really great food with no religious stuff to get in the way of eating (like fasting, for example, that clearly gets in the way of eating.) There is also the Macy’s parade, which although I always say I want to watch, generally turns into me seeing two floats and finding something else to do. The best part about the whole holiday is that I have turned it into a three-day-prep-event, so Thursday I am not exhausted and bitter. Continue reading I Love Thanksgiving

Happy New Year

This evening marks the start of Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. This week we celebrate (read: eat a lot) Next week we get to fast and repent for our sins.
