The Key West Woman’s Club is a women-only organization that raises money for charitable organizations. Each year the members decorate the building that houses the club, going so far as to decorate teddy bears that are then given to charity. Then they open the house to the public for a holiday season kickoff party.
They have desserts, holiday cheer and egg nog made by “The Egg Nog Lady”. I see where she gets her name – that is GOOD egg nog, not that I am an egg nog connoisseur, but I do know when a food product sucks.
The women of the club open their doors to spread holiday cheer, and do a mighty fine job if it.
