We have had a years-long ongoing discussion with friends about where we could get good pizza delivery. Luigi’s has the best Sicilian pizza, hands down (I am especially a fan of the Arcadia preparation with spinach, garlic and mushrooms.) For a while, Bobalu’s was great, but alas, they have been replaced by yet another Pat Croce establishment, Charlie Mac’s (I have yet to get there, so no comment as of now.)
I had friends that liked Upper Crust (also gone now, although promising to open somewhere with more reasonable rent), but I had not tried it. One too many looks in the window convinced me I did not want to eat there. So, when our friends went on and on and on about how good the pizza from Duetto’s was, we had to give it a try.
Owned by an Italian husband and wife team, with a simple menu of pizza, gelato and panini, Duetto’s is a tiny storefront with few seats. I have (shockingly, given my willingness to eat ice cream as often as possible) not tried the gelato yet. Next time. Meanwhile, we ordered the “Parmigiana” pizza, a thin crust pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmigiano cheese, basil and eggplant. Was it good? Well, we finished the entire pie. All of it. In mere moments.
The crust was perfectly crunchy and well done, although not at all burnt. The thinly sliced eggplant did not make the pizza the least bit soggy and the sauce (although not quite as tasty as Luigi’s sauce) is flavorful. Overall, three thumbs up. (FKGuy gave it two thumbs up, but as I was still stuffing pizza in my mouth, I only had one free hand. If I had not been so involved with my eggplant pizza, clearly it would be four thumbs up.)
I would recommend Duetto’s for delivery. They are located at 540 Greene Street in Key West, and I am not so sure about eating in, as they have very few seats, but I can tell you, the pizza is excellent. Have you been there? What do you think?

I love Duetto’s! The pizza is amazing and the service is too!
Onlywood’s pizza is also amazing. Currently, my strategy is to go to Onlywood if I want to sit and eat and order delivery from Duettos
Glad you guys likes it! The owners are also the nicest people and the pistachio gelato for desert doesn’t hurt!
