It is October. Hard to believe, but it’s a fact. That means a few things in Key West: It still feels like summer, only a more tolerable version; snowbirds start to flock back south this month; and, of course, it is nearly time for Fantasy Fest.

Fantasy Fest is just around the corner and this year’s theme is Superheroes, Villains and Beyond. In honor of my being proactive and trying to come up with some costume ideas before October 20, I have decided to share with you some decidedly heroic, and evil cocktail recipes.
