Happy Independence Day! Today, millions of people will be celebrating in the usual ways: grilling burgers and hot dogs, setting of fireworks (and subsequently ending up in the emergency room), and gathering with friends and family. As for me? Dinner on the beach at The Strip House, overlooking the fireworks.
Today is th day to keep your pets indoors, people. Most are afraid of fireworks, so keep them safe inside. Babka will be spending her evening on the couch, with her peanut butter filled Kong, watching HGTV. (She used to like NCIS reruns, but they were a little too violent for her.)
In honor of this special day, I painted my nails red, white and blue. In the process, I manages to spill nail polish remover on my laptop (don’t ask), so I will be back with all new content (and hopefully a new computer, and BIG plug for Square Trade) next week.
